Amazon slash 'perfect' air fryer price by 30% as shoppers hail 'time saving' device

The Uten Air Fryer Oven is currently 30 per cent off on Amazon, and has thousands of reviews that claim it saves so much time and is a great alternative to a traditional oven.

Amazon has shared a new deal on a popular air fryer that has been hailed as a perfect alternative to a traditional oven, as it is a great "time-saver".

The Uten Air Fryer Oven has a 10 litre capacity, with a touchscreen, three layers for cooking and 12 different cooking settings. The air fryer has an average rating of four and a half stars out of five, with thousands of positive reviews on the Amazon website. The air fryer has been reduced from £79.84 to £55.53 - a saving of £24.31.

This air fryer goes head-to-head with the ever popular Ninja Foodi Max version, which is has also been reduced by 20 per cent on Amazon at the moment.

Lots of shoppers rate this air fryer as a great time saver, with no need to pre-heat it and the different accessories that come with it.

One happy customer said: "My favourite part of using air fryer is that it's not necessary to wait several minutes for it to preheat like I had to when using oven so it saves not only time but also energy.

"I have small kitchen so it was necessary for me to find right fit which wouldn't be taking too much space of my worktop and this one is a WIN!

"I have it slightly over a year yet the accessories still looks like new and are easy to clean as the non stick coating doesn't wash off or shows any marks of tiredness after being used at least once a day during all this period.Definitely would recommend to all, my friends already got the same and their experience is amazing too!This one is a KEEPER, loving every great result of meals what comes out of it!"

And another said: "I chose this one because I wanted a large air fryer so I could fit a lot in. I wanted to be able to bake a cake, which I haven't yet, or roast a chicken which I have. Not sure how people manage with smaller ones. I can do most basic things in 15 minutes such as sausage and chips, pork chops. I don't have to turn anything because of the large surface area.

"It was reasonably priced. After you put the pot in the base you do often have to give the pot a bang to start the cooking process. It is very easy to use and it is easy to clean."

However, some reviewers have said that this gadget has a couple of flaws, with one review reading: "If you need a mini oven, this is ok, it gets hot but also looses a lot of heat into the room.

"If you want an air fryer, get a single, or my preference, a double basket / drawer one, a bit more money but 10 times better and more practical. Can’t knock this for the price, not really but an air fryer it’s not, more of a fan assisted grill / toaster oven."
